Thirty Years Ago
Our family made a pilgrimage to Salt Lake City 30 years ago, August 20. On that day in the Salt Lake Temple, all dressed in white, we knelt around an alter of the Lord and were sealed together as an eternal family. It was a very important day for us. Here we are afterwards sitting on the steps of the temple.
This August we were all again in Salt Lake City at the temple for a granddaughter's wedding. Carol was the one, as usual, who remembered and had us pose for an anniversary picture. Have we changed much? This pivotal event in our lives 30 years ago has made all the difference.
